Tranquil location, lovely hotel, friendly staff

This hotel is off the beaten track but well worth it because the location is lovely. It's very tranquil and the grounds are beautiful. We were given a ground floor room that for a superior room was not good so we asked to change rooms and the staff accommodated our request and we were moved to a much better room. The staff are very friendly with the exception of one of the waiters who mainly served in the lunch place by the pool - he spoke very little English and was very rude when we complained about one of the pasta dishes. He also messed up an order on a different day and was again quite standoffish but he apologised the following day. The food is hit and miss - for the most part good, but it sometimes felt like the chef was trying too hard and not always succeeding. The breakfast is good but with a very limited option so after 7 days it gets a bit laborious ordering the same food. However, all these are minor quibbles because the hotel itself is very peaceful with a lovely aspect.

Quality of the dinner food and a more varied breakfast menu. Also, not being able to take your own food or drinks onto the property makes it a very expensive stay.

The hotel is 5*, but the breakfast was a huge disappointment. traveling a lot last years we always have had buffe, this time it wasn’t and you could only choose 4 dishes… not good

Lovely and peaceful

Lovely peaceful setting, easy access to a small beach. Park around the hotel very well kept. The staff are amazing and very helpful and responsive to any questions. Breakfasts good.

There is a very rough dirt track of about a mile to the hotel from the busy main road and no apparent way of walking to anywhere. Definitely need to drive when venturing out of the hotel. We tried the snacks on offer for lunch but found them not very good and overpriced so eating away from the hotel was preferable.

Beautiful landscape and gardens, the new renovated rooms particularly beautiful and comfortable, the staff at the reception very kind, they took into account our desire regarding the room

Like the previous comments, we also have a very bad opinion about the breakfast, very few options and poor quality food, also the staff very distant and arrogant and wasps everywhere The swimming pool near the beach is very poorly maintained and no toilets nearby

Beautiful Hotel in amazing grounds. Would stay again despite few issues with daily bar ordering.

The grounds of the hotel were absolutely beautiful. The infinity pool with sea views and small private beach and main pool were just gorgeous. There was never a situation where we had to fight for beds. The bar/restaurant used during the day was an essential part of enjoying the hotel during the day as the hotel, while not being rural was a little away from any inhabited area. The breakfast was served btwn 0800 and 1000hrs and took a while to get to grips with what was available and what was included in the booking. Four items were allowed to be ordered and two drinks. This took a few days to get to grips with but once we understood the staff got to know our likes and were able to understand our orders.

When ordering from the bar/restaurant during the day there was no clear recording of what was ordered which was important because we were away with two other couples and didn't want to be paying for things we didn't order. We didn't sign for our order which would have made things so much easier for challenging any questionable order. The staff often asked us many orders later to tell them which order related to which room, almost getting annoyed with us even though this was the hotel's policy. We did bring this to the hotels management's attention to try to avoid future confusion.

Wonderful

The location and layout of the hotel, the way that rooms are spaced, not like a high hotel block. The grounds were immaculate. Room servicing was great, new towels every day. The reception team were attentive, especially Paolo with his local knowledge and recommendations for places to visit on the island.

The road(track) down to the hotel, we thought we'd taken a wrong turn even though the facility was signposted. The Evening meal option is in my opinion overpriced and lacks quality, it would be beneficial to have a 'none' a la carte menu with local options if you do not want to partake in the full menu. The serving staff were hot n cold - at breakfast they didn't seem very happy in their work and when we did try the evening menu, after booking a table in advance we were made to feel uncomfortable when we arrived for our sitting and were told they were not expecting us. The waiter did sort a table for us but it seemed like a real chore for him.

Nice relaxing hotel, good breakfast, friendly staff

The hotel is comfortable and the communal areas are pretty. There is a great selection of wines to try at the hotel bar, and the breakfast was nice - definitely order the pancakes. The pool by the sea had lovely views. We ate in nearby Pula both nights which offers a mix of local Sardinian food and a Michelin-starred seafood restaurant on the bay which we would definitely recommend.

The location of the hotel is a bit out of the way and so it is necessary to drive to dinner unless you eat at the hotel

Our stay was fabulous!

The property was stunning. Very well maintained with lovely outdoor amenities including a lovely restaurant with outdoor seating. The room was clean with a spacious bathroom and terrace The breakfast was fabulous as were the staff at breakfast. Reception staff - in particular one gentleman was exceptional - very very helpful

These are not criticisms but rather suggestions for the owners- While one can order drinks and snacks from the bistro throughout the day- actual drink service to both pool areas would be fabulous- particularly down by the beach pool I would also suggest the addition of a gym and spa if possible

Peaceful place that offers everything you need.

Amazing property, very peaceful and calm. We loved the restaurant, breakfast and dinner were both amazing. The guy at the bar mixed best cocktails we had on the island - a true mixologist! Also the guy on reception was super helpful, nice and welcoming. We had just amazing experience here and will absolutely come back!

Peaceful hotel in a wonderful setting with crystal clear waters on a private beach.

Fantastic setting with the infinity pool leading on to private beach. Dinner and service was great (one of the best Sea Bass we have ever had). I would emphasise just how quiet the hotel is. No noisy roads, boats or planes/flightpaths. A very relaxing and comfortable hotel with good access to other beaches in the area, as well as Cagliari.

There was very little to dislike about this hotel. It's useful having a car if travel beyond the hotel is part of the plan, but it's such a good environment, you possibly don't need to go anywhere.
